Ideal for content creators, videographers, journalists, vloggers, podcasters, and live streamers, the Saramonic Blink 500 ProX B5 is a true-wireless, digital microphone system that offers a complete, cost-effective solution for recording a single on-camera personality directly to a mobile device equipped with a USB-C port.

The transmitter features a built-in mic and is paired with the receiver at the factory, making the system easy to use for anyone, and delivering reliable wireless transmission with a clear sound at a distance up to 100m. A built-in rechargeable battery in the transmitter provides up to 10 hours of operation, while the receiver is powered via the USB-C port. The included storage case features a built-in battery to recharge the transmitter and provides 35 hours of shooting time between charges.

Clip-On Transmitter with Built-In Mic + Discreet Lavalier Mic

The compact, clip-on transmitter can be quickly attached to subjects for fast, run-and-gun-style shoots; you can clip it to clothing, slide it into a shirt pocket, place it on a podium, or hold it in your hand.
Its built-in miniature condenser microphone captures clear and natural voice tonality. The mic’s omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound in all directions, making it easy to position on your talent and get high-quality, intelligible speech.
For a more discreet look, you can plug the included omni lavalier microphone into the transmitter’s 3.5mm input jack. The input can accept mic- or line-level signals, making it fully capable of accommodating a variety of external sources, including an audio feed from a mixer or receiver.
Since your subjects may speak at very different volumes, Saramonic outfitted the Blink 500 ProX TX with dedicated gain buttons to allow quick and effortless adjustment of the signal level. Utilize the tactile mute function to cut the signal in a hurry without having to adjust the volume.
The high-contrast OLED screen shows real-time input metering, input-gain level, mute icon, wireless strength, and battery life.
An internal 10-hour lithium-ion battery keeps you going on extra-long shoots or multiple run-and-gun gigs in a day. Recharge the battery via the USB-C port. The transmitter can also be powered via USB, even while in use, giving you near unlimited operating time.
The transmitter powers on and off automatically when opening and closing the charging case. The case can charge the transmitter up to 2.5 additional times anywhere.
A furry windscreen is included for the mic/transmitter to reduce wind noise on outdoor shoots. A foam windscreen is also supplied for the lavalier microphone.

Simply plug the dual-channel receiver into the USB-C connection on your mobile device, the USB-C port supplies the receiver with power and provides a cable-free digital connection to your phone or tablet.
Just power up the receiver and transmitter to access reliable wireless audio functionality in an instant.
Advanced technology invisibly handles complicated tasks such as switching channels to avoid dropouts, leaving you with a streamlined and simple system that requires no tedious manual configuration.
A 3.5mm jack allows for headphone monitoring.

Blink 500 ProX systems utilize 16-bit / 48 kHz digital audio resolution to give you quality sound at a budget-friendly price point.
Compared to the built-in microphones on cameras and mobile devices, Blink 500 ProX systems offer considerably improved fidelity and clarity with less noise.
Within the 2.4 GHz spectrum, the Blink 500 ProX boasts automatic channel hopping to mitigate noise and dropouts at a line-of-sight distance of up to 328 feet. For optimal performance, environments with limited Wi-Fi / 2.4 GHz traffic and minimal physical obstructions are recommended.
Since the Blink 500 ProX receiver is a dual-channel receiver, it can simultaneously handle two Blink 500 ProX wireless transmitters (second transmitter/mic available separately) for 2-person recordings.
The receiver features a selectable mono/stereo output mode, allowing it to appropriately feed signal from one transmitter into both input channels of your device (via mono mode) or from two transmitters into separate input channels of your device (via stereo mode).
If you need to expand beyond that, you can use up to 18 Blink 500 ProX mics at once at the same location.
